Morgan Childs is an Event Planner with nine years of experience planning, coordinating and designing high-end events in New York City, Boston and Hawaii. She is the fourth generation of her family to be born and raised in Hawaii and has returned home with a unique blend of east coast experience and a deep understanding and love for the local style, rich cultural history and customs of the Hawaiian Islands. Morgan is also an Entertaining & Lifestyle expert who has written articles for Hawaii Business, Green, SMART and Pacific Edge Magazines. She has been hired to conduct seminars and teaches classes on the subject of entertaining and wedding planning. Her most recent project is Modern Living Hawaii, a blog with her tips on entertaining and style inspired by all things Hawaii.

Senior Event Manager
Amanda Corby comes to her position with extensive expertise in public relations, community affairs and event management. She brings over eight years of public relations and marketing experience to this position, as well as a creative mind-set and passion for giving back to her community. Prior to joining Moana Events, Amanda served as the Marketing & Events Manager for Special Olympics Hawaii. Amanda has exuberated innovative leadership within the islands working with local non-profits, serving as Vice-Chair of the UH Board of Publications, as a committee member of organizations such as the Honolulu Chamber of Commerce and as a freelance writer and blogger for local publications such as Green magazine.
